Foamed tape

PP (Polypropylene) Foamed Tape is used widely used in cable industries, It is produced from polypropylene & processed with physical and mechanical foaming. The usage of PP Tape forms the perfect shape on the cable as It provides high voltage and electrical isolation characteristics because of its high cushioning effects, as well as it helps in preventing damage to the conductor segment from the armor section due to it’s good tensile strength. PP Foamed tape in general is soft, less slippery, cushioned, super light in weight and highly economical due to it’s reduced density by gas foaming during extrusion process. The foamed tapes comes in binding film which has a foam structure and high tenacity. Due to it’s low basis weight, good tensile strength, it can hold the low & medium voltage (from 1 to 35kv) cables firm without failing.
